Mahalo Maui Organics is poised to launch it’s first few products, including it’s flagship product, organic dried bananas, organic dried pineapple (seasonal) and organic 100% Kona coffee.
Mahalo Maui Organics is a young company with big ambition for both producing the worlds tastiest organic Hawaiian dried fruit products, as well as contributing back to the community in ways other local entrepreneurs and farmers around the country can successfully replicate.
Mahalo Maui Organics is part of the growing “farm to table” trend that is sweeping America. As it has for centuries, the lush Mahalo Maui Organic Farmland sits nestled at the base of the West Maui mountains..overlooking the famed “Mt. Haleakala” to the west, and surrounded by thousands of acres of virgin forrest land.
It’s new owners, honored to have become the humble “caretakers” of this sacred land, plan to continue many ancient Hawaiian cultural and farming philosophies, and take seriously their responsibility to honor the “aina” (land), just as those before them have done. In addition to a working farm, storefront, a processing facility and film-ready commercial kitchen, the Mahalo Maui Organic Farm will also serve as an “eco-tourism” destination...featuring unique stream-side Treehouse and Hawaiian Hut vacation residences and a special events venue.
Our products are a pure organic dried fruit snack that is loved by kids and adults alike.
All Mahalo Maui dried fruit products are 100% natural with zero added ingredients. *No sulfites! Round two product launches will include Hawaiian chocolate-dipped dried fruits, Mahalo Maui mountain spring water in a box (from the fresh mountain water springs and streams running through Mahalo Maui farm), other dried fruit products such as organic dried mango and a line of roasted macadamia nuts which also grow on the Mahalo Maui land.
Pipeline products include dried coconut “jerky” as well as other Hawaiian dried organic deliciousness such as jackfruit, noni fruit, pitaya (dragon fruit) and rambutan. There’s also a planned line of organic tee’s, sportswear and clothing accessories. Organic spices will eventually round out the product line.
While ramping up for large production capability on their own land, Mahalo Maui will happily and proudly employ many local and neighboring farmers and other community members to help fulfill their production needs.
A portion of the proceeds of all sales will benefit the “Mahalo Maui Project” a program of Mahalo Maui Organics, who’s sole mission is to grow, harvest and distribute free organic produce to those “at risk” citizens in their community whom need it most. A portion of their land will serve as a pilot program.
*Any sulfite-containing compound, especially one that is used in foods or drug products as a preservative and that can cause severe allergic reactions in susceptible individuals.
